We are committed to leading the way . This organization has successfully established a number of key partnerships; these include Nottingham Trent University. The students we accept into this service are a mixture of first, second- and third-year students that are studying to be Paramedics, Occupational Therapists or Registered Nurses. Our partnerships enable those who want to enter the care profession to gain valuable experience. This is a great opportunity for them, the clients we support and our current workforce. The Foundation Skills Placement is an opportunity for students to work with care providers across the region, to develop the softer skills required to work as an allied professional and support them to become a rounded paramedic, Occupational therapist or Nurse. This includes skills around communicating with vulnerable members of the public, demonstrating compassion and dignity and understanding the need for effective and active listening.
