DICE Healthcare CQC

DICE Healthcare was rated ‘OUTSTANDING’ in well lead for the first time by the Care Quality Commission in September 2025. This was a focused inspection. The service was rated ‘OUTSTANDING’ for how well-led it is and ‘good’ for caring, responsive, safe and effective.

DICE Healthcare Limited is a care at home service providing support to older people/younger adults, people living with dementia, people with a sensory impairment, people with a learning disability, autistic people and people with physical disabilities. The provider and staff had created an exceptional shared vision and culture based on active listening, learning and building trust. Leaders were always visible, very knowledgeable and extremely supportive, consistently helping staff develop in their roles to enable a continually improving service and maintain high-quality care.

The CQC report, after inspectors visited in August, said “The service leadership was exceptional and distinctive. Leaders and the service culture they created drove and improved high-quality, person-centred care. People were cared for by staff who were kind, caring, empathetic and compassionate.’’

“The provider strongly valued diversity in their workforce. They had an inclusive and fair culture which had improved equality and equity for people who worked for them. We were given numerous examples of how the provider had created a culture which had improved equality and equity for their staff team.’’

‘’We reviewed evidence of a number of innovative pieces of work the registered manager and her team had implemented to support learning for the team and improve the quality of people’s lives. Applying creative and innovative ways of working and a focus on continuous learning and improvement demonstrated the providers desire to provide the best service possible to people which actively improved equity of access and quality of life. ’’

‘’The provider worked with people and healthcare partners to establish and maintain safe systems of care, in which safety was managed or monitored. They made sure there was continuity of care, including when people moved between different services.’’
